About
Logan Rayment is a Canadian artist working with/in/through archival worldbuilding, generational storytelling, and post-industrialist ponderings. Logan is interested in exploring how storytelling and image-making can act as bridges between collective memory, place, and community, and his upbringing in one of the worldwide “Steel Cities” informs much of his practice.
Logan is an MFA Candidate at NSCAD University, where he was awarded the Roloff Beny Photography Scholarship. He completed his BFA at Toronto Metropolitan University, where his thesis "The Veteran's Archive" was awarded the IMC Student Gallery Production Award in memory of George Fleischmann, as well as the Image Arts Special Collection Award. In 2023, he received the Jack Gilbert Image Arts Award.
