Nuclear Topographies, a group exhibition with photographs from Blake Fitzpatrick, Avery
Nielsen-Webb, and Logan Rayment explores the ever-lasting radioactive histories of nuclear
industrialism within North America. Within the genre of the landscape, the photographers
document, uranium mines, laboratories, and refineries, where hundreds of millions of tons of
radioactive mine tailings, waste, and spills have been scattered across the land. Their work
examines existing nuclear plants and the historical evidence of uranium mining and refining
across three sites to interpret the devastating effects on personal health and on the environment.
